Hi, I’m Ollie Lovell. I’m the author of an amazon bestseller on the science of learning, a podcaster, a teacher, and a passionate learner.
My journey with language learning began in 2014 when I set myself the challenge of learning Mandarin Chinese in one year. It was January and, as soon as I decided, I booked flights for China in December! It was a wild ride and one of the most rewarding projects of my life!
Since then, I’ve been writing, blogging, podcasting, and reflecting about learning. My passion for language learning has only grown, and that’s why I’ve started this website, as a way to share some of the breakthrus that I’ve had over the years with my own language learning, and hopefully inspire and empower others to learn foreign languages too.
